Worxshop MailBOX Terms & Conditions

The Worxshop Mailbox Standard Service:

The "standard" package typically covers the basics of physical mail management:

Professional Business Address: Use our coworking space’s physical address for your website, business cards, and legal filings (like LLC formation).

Mail & Package Receipt: Our staff members can receive and sign for mail and packages from all major carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL).

Secure Storage: Your mail is stored in a locked mailbox or a secure area until you arrive to collect it.

Arrival Notifications: We only send notifications for packages.

Pick-up Access: Standard access allows you to pick up mail during the facility’s staffed business hours (usually 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Note: If you plan to use the address for a legal business entity (like an LLC),  We will require you to fill out USPS Form 1583, which authorizes us to receive mail on your behalf. (1583 Form information can be found below.)

Package Size: Weight/Size Limitations

Our facilities have a "Standard Package" limit. If your delivery exceeds these, you might face a "Large Item" fee ($10 per item per day of storage) or be asked to pick it up within 24 hours.

The "Standard" Criteria:

Weight: Anything under 20–30 lbs is generally accepted without question.

Dimensions: Anything that can fit in our provided mail shelf. A box larger than 18" x 18" x 18" (roughly the size of a large microwave box) often triggers the "Oversize" category.

Quantity: "Standard" usually covers up to 5–10 packages per month. If you are running an e-commerce business and receiving 20 boxes a week, we will likely change your plan to a warehouse holding/shipping rental plan.

FYI: Important information for our Standard Mailbox Service:

Furniture/Pallets: Our standard coworking spaces/memberships do not include loading-dock access. If your package requires a pallet jack or use of our forklift, it is not a standard mailbox service. There will be an additional fee, and it must be agreed upon.

Hazardous Materials: We explicitly ban the receipt of chemicals, ammunition, or perishable food items (unless you’re there to meet the delivery).

The "Furniture Test": If the front desk staff cannot comfortably lift the box by themselves, it’s likely exceeding the standard criteria.

You will need to fill out the USPS Form 1583 (Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent).

Get your form notarized: Take the completed Form 1583 to a notary public to get it officially notarized.

Provide identification: You will need to present two forms of identification to the coworking space to verify your identity.

Understand the rules: Your coworking space is legally required to be a registered Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) to receive mail on your behalf. The form 1583 is a key part of this process.
